Today´s corporate environment requires senior executives to be leading “athletes” in order to meet the increasing pressure,  as well as to cope with shifting economies and political uncertainty. Executive health seems to be one of the greatest leadership challenges of the 21st century, where isolation, the pain of downsizing and pace of work are stressors that senior executives are exposed to in contrast to others - having a direct impact on physiological and psychological well-being. As a result, organisations are implementing wellness programs to overcome these challenges but in return these schemes often become a part of the problem by invading private life and increasing the already high pressure to perform, which has led to burnout and senior executives feeling inadequate. Statistics show that over 60% of CEOs are at risk of heart failure, 80% are considered medically obese while 100% are suffering from psychosomatic stress diseases, which is why we are here - to fortify executive health.

"BECOME THE CEO OF YOURSELF"

lead yourself to success

“All human beings have personality traits, and self-management, self-discipline and resilience are all a part of this. Between these paradigms, where and if they cross over – you need to find the balance for you! Your balance is determined by you, and happens when there is a balance between soft-skills e.g. self-assessment, goal setting, time management, self-regulation and the emotions controlling these skills, in combination with the ability to overcome adversity, so that one can manoeuvre one’s behaviour to reach desired goals and increase performance”

FROM HAMBURG - Day 2: "The basics of the situational management style" with Professor Jonathan Passmore.

"In this session Prof Jonathan Passmore explored different approaches to leadership. He argued that the most effective leaders use a variety of approaches, but in most organisations a coaching leadership style should be the default setting. He suggests ways leaders can structure coaching conversations with their team and the skills they need to develop, before offering five tips for leaders to take away and implement with their teams" (HBS, 2020).

«Make success a habit!», at Henley Business School

From our Chief Executive`s session, «Make success a habit!», at Henley Business School for Henley Careers as a part of their series “Resilient You”. Thank you so much for having us. Here with the amazing Stephanie Shaw - Acting Head of Career Consultancy. - “Growing up, and through life, we are taught various things to expand knowledge and develop capabilities, but hardly anyone teaches us how to successfully lead ourselves or to be happy. This session provides insights into how to increase self-management and develop both discipline and resilience, and how this will enable you to reach desired goals, increase performance, find happiness and ultimately “Become the CEO of yourself” (Anfinsen, 2019) to make success a habit”.
